I could have missed all of this….

If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 2 Corinthians 5:13-15

  1. Jennie I am so thankful you said YES. Some 20,000 of us would have missed this, too, if you hadn’t. I cannot even begin to express what God has done in my soul. My heart and my brain felt like it was going to explode when we packed up and left. But I want you to know that in our little gathering of 12 in Brevard, NC, women were brave. Women bared their souls. Women confessed and repented. Women prayed for one another. Women gathered from mulitple churches, with an ages ranging from college-aged to 60s. I am convinced that in that little space, lives were altered for the rest of eternity. And because of that, WHO CAN SAY how many millions more lives have been altered?? We were a part of that. God let us be a part of this whole work! I have never loved Him more nor felt more undeserving. My heart is so full. Thank you.

  2. Glorious moments….famous faces. My struggles…how do we find this sisterhood outside of the famous?? I could not go to the conference…but in reality, when we are home in the real world…where is it? The sisterhood of Christ?

Our IF local started and was cancelled due to horrible weather. I’d been looking forward to it for months, and as I fought the ice and snow to get back home I swallowed disappointment. I believed in IF. Back to the busy, buzz of house and six kids and oh NO- sick husband I went! But God is good, and as soon as I could tidy, tuck, and dose with cold medicine I sat down to hungrily watch IF. I stayed up ’til the wee hours of the morning and soaked in every second!! Saturday I came back and listened throughout the day until I had attended the whole event. I was stirred and emboldened and blessed beyond words. I too feel the urgency of our generation, as if we were the last. I will continue to labor joyfully in my ministry for teen purity, and because I hear God saying “What are you waiting for?” I will obey and begin to write what He is teaching me. Thank you Jennie for your heart for God and women!!!

  5. Thank you Jennie for following what God asked of you and sharing your story. I loved the stepping stones illustration and how you were faithful for 7 years to see IF come to pass. Your testimony of faithfulness is a testimony that speaks volumes. If our generation would grasp that some things take time to grow we could do some amazingly awesome things. Thank you for allowing me to be refreshed and watered by the Lord this weekend.

  6. Thank you for sharing. This weekend was wonderful and life changing for me. It was encouraging and helped me to refocus to live life intentionally with purpose. I gathered with women of all ages that I hardly knew but by the end left as friends. Women were honest and filled with raw emotions which led to repentance and healing. Thank you for saying Yes to Jesus and listening to the call that was laid upon your heart.

On another note, thanks for the pics. We were all wondering what it looked like. The attention to detail, the beautiful center pieces, market, and stage was just all so well done. Looking forward in studying God’s word with everyone.
