IF:Gathering was a taste of heaven, maybe more than any other I’ve experienced… countless people around the world encountered Jesus and His Word through the live stream. God willing, people around the world are more in love with Him and more clear of their sacred and urgent purpose here.

Tell me you tasted it out in your places?

The standing ovation for Tasha as my warrior friend cried feeling the friendship and support of all of you around the world? The Holy Spirit is using her mightily to build bridges of racial unity.

Latasha Morrison

Coaches, sisters, mothers, single friends sharing their stories of following Jesus in simple ways and getting a glimpse of how that could change eternity?

Dear Roce from the Philippines singing a solo in a language I do not know and yet it was the most beautiful worship I’ve ever seen?

And Jill Briscoe? It was like time stood still.

But the best part was hearing stories of you leading in your homes and churches around the world. This was one of the most miraculous and God-breathed things we’ve ever seen.

We live in a unique time and I never want to lose the wonder I have over all that is happening around us. Guys- Jesus is better and dearer and wants us more than I realized even days ago. He is using you in your places to shift eternity… I’ve never been more sure of it.

And here’s my deepest prayer: that you would love God and love the people around you. That you would let His Word be your strength and peace. That you would let the Living God fill your well and let it spill over into the people around you.

This is not a special calling for the especially mature- this is the great equalizer! If you know Jesus, you have something to give away. Period.

I know right now some of you do not feel qualified to do this…

maybe no one has ever done it for you,

or maybe you feel distant from God,

Or maybe you have screwed up so big

or maybe you haven’t been walking with Him very long.

But one thing I know, God usually moves most through those who know they are not qualified.

“…the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations is now revealed to You and so that you would reveal it to everyone….. which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.…” Colossians 1:26-28

So, THANK YOU for saying yes, for being brave and inviting people into your homes and churches. Thank you for being with your people so they could be with Jesus! His glory alone is what we seek in ALL things.

What is one way you saw God move? I cannot wait to hear your local experiences. Tell us about your groups? Who was there and what happened?! Comment below or send us an email at admin@jennieallen.com.

  1. Jennie,
Thank you for your vision. Thank you for being brave even when you didn’t feel it. Thank you for setting an awesome example of what it looks like for a woman to lead.

Last year, I attended a small IF:Local in a small town close by. This year, the Lord laid it on my heart to host an IF:Local at my church. I was obedient, even though I was scared. The Lord moved in huge ways. It was beautiful SO many women’s lives were changed. For me, it was a whisper from God to stop trying to hard. Before I even began reading your new book, the Lord used this weekend to calm my heart. I was reminded that nothing happens in my power. NOTHING OF VALUE happens by my hands. I have to stop striving so hard. I have to stop pushing so hard. My effort, His power. I have to allow him to change lives and stop try to act like I have that power.

Thank you again for championing this movement of God.

I do have a question though. This is a stretch, but I really want to hear from women that I look up to. Women that really know their Word and their God. I have great mentors in my life, but none that are as knowledgeable as I would need. So, here is my question:
Please explain 2 Timothy 2:12 to me. I struggle with this so so bad. I am a strong women who has very strong gifts of teaching and leading. I teach in many different forms but I ALWAYS get push back from men. I hear almost once a week “2 timothy 2:12– Paul would not approve of this” Sometimes they are joking, but other times they are serious. This is so so heavy on my heart. I would love to hear your perspective on it. Please help me lead. Help me do what I KNOW the Lord has gifted me in and called me to do.

    Thank you, Jennie.

I watched my friend, Sarah Ferguson, work tirelessly to bring together over 85 women at her Local: Cedar Park gathering. Sarah’s love for people, her community, and Jesus glowed brighter than the candles and lights on the beautiful table centerpieces. Her heart and voice spoke volumes through tears that fell as she shared what the Holy Spirit put on her heart. The women in attendance were drawn in and blessed by the livestream and the fellowship. Women’s walls built tall with bricks crumbled, crushed flat by love. Our concrete defenses turned into little white fences; inviting and neighborly, we made new friends and coffee dates.
God moved in Cedar Park and around the world last weekend.
God Bless. Thank you, Jennie & IF: Gathering. You have changed my life and countless others.

I was not aware of this event in time to
Potential have a group together. However on Friday evening I did spend the last two hours watching and it blessed me tremendously. I was especially moved by Ann Voskamp and the Merricks.
I know my church is looking to start up a women’s ministry and believe this would be a great way to do it. With some of the blessings that have been provided to the church we have an great opportunity to have a great outreach.
My heart is for women of all ages because I believe we have the ability to change the lives of those following after us.
I wish I had this through the first 32 years of my walk. However, I know that this was part of God’s perfect plan so that I would have a heart to do this for others.
This is a great ministry and I am looking to connect my sisters at church with the information from this ministry so we can begin to take those steps of faith and reach out.
Thank you so much for all you do!

  4. I love this. I printed it and put it up in my cubicle immediately.

  5. Excited to be used by my Lord tonight as I gather a group of young women together. Praying that the Holy Spirit will be unleashed it’s our table.

I think my favorite moment was when our pastor’s wife (I only mention her ‘role’ because I appreciate that leadership/staff here tracks with things that matter- we’ve only been here on staff a year) came up & asked me to pause right after BTB & we prayed & repented on our knees. It was powerful, emotional, & something that will stay with me. By the way, she was also on the bottom of my tile. ❤️

It was also amazing to see the women, who this was so new to, worshipping & processing. Different things resonating with different people. I sensed breakthrough for some.
    It was so good.
Thank you, Jennie. Bless you for leading this.

  7. This just fills my heart and lifts my spirit. I hope to make it to a gathering one day. Sending love and encouragement from Cisneros Cafe. xoxo
