One of the hardest parts of adulthood is finding and keeping friends. Suddenly, making friends is not as easy as it was in college. This is especially difficult when we go through different seasons in our lives.

If we can shift from complaining and grumbling, this is going to shift the way people view us. I’ve found that people who talk about God the most are some of the most grumbling and complaining people. I might be to some degree, but I hope that I'm not one of them.

It may be awkward to have the conversations about ground rules, but it’s for the benefit of everyone in your community. You must have those awkward conversations to build life-giving friendships and communities around you.
